The inviting living room has a big screen TV and Blu-ray player, the fully equipped kitchen is elegant and furnished with the tools and appliances for in-cabin meals, and the master suite boasts a king-size bed you’ll love after a long day exploring the Smokies. The outdoor spaces are equally inviting, with rocking chairs overlooking the trees, a dining table for outdoor meals, and a hot tub for soothing those tired muscles.
The cabin also offers a couple community perks, including access to nearby hiking trails – when you want to stretch your legs – and a community fire pit – when you want to kick back with a drink and unwind. Lacking for Nothing also has several sister cabins in the Beside the Still Waters community, so you can book multiple cabins here for separate but nearby spaces for groups. You may want to spend your days relaxing at the cabin, but there is also plenty to do in the area. Lacking for Nothing is less than 10 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg, which means easy access to dozens of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Living Room
After exploring the Parkway, riding the trolley through town, hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, playing at Dollywood, or shopping all around town, the comfortable living room of Lacking for Nothing will be just the place to retreat to. Grab a good book and curl up on the sofa in front of the stacked stone fireplace, get a drink and unwind in the leather chair with ottoman, or sit down in the upholstered chair to chat with family and friends. You can flip on the big screen TV, have a movie night, or just hang out and relax. The room feels nice and open with high ceilings and lots of natural light through the windows along the roof line.
Kitchen
Whether you want to create elaborate homemade meals, whip up snacks, or just have a place to bring back leftovers or takeout from downtown, the fully equipped kitchen in Lacking for Nothing is convenience and easy. Warm wood cabinets and black appliances pair with the essentials like a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, and built-in microwave. You’ll also have a coffeemaker for your early morning jolt, a toaster, and enough dishes, glassware, and utensils for all 7 guests.
Dining Areas
Inside and out, Lacking for Nothing gives you some great dining spaces when you don’t want to eat in town. The breakfast bar in the kitchen has room to seat 4, and it’s also great for setting out a spread of snacks or a buffet during the holidays. Or take your food outside for a peaceful outdoor meal at the 4-person table on the deck.
Bedrooms
After spending the day exploring the Smokies, a peaceful, comfortable bedroom is a welcome treat. The master suite of Lacking for Nothing is a retreat of its own, with a king-size bed, large dresser for unpacking, big screen TV for late-night movies, nightstands, and wall-mounted lights on both sides of the bed. The bathroom here has a shower/tub combo.
The second sleeping area in Lacking for Nothing is the loft, where you’ll find a twin-over-full bunk bed and a queen-size futon. It’s great for extra guests or kids to have their own place to hang out, and when the futon isn’t used for sleeping, it’s a great place to just hang out.
Outdoor Spaces
Lacking for Nothing is a classic log cabin in the trees with a welcoming exterior. You’ll see your first amenity when you pull up, with a charcoal grill just outside. Bring some kabobs or burgers to toss on the grill for a cookout on a nice day. Then head through the cabin and onto the deck, where you can unwind and relax. Grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and sit down in the red rocking chairs on the deck, take a plate to the 4-person dining table on the deck, and finish the evening with a soothing soak in the hot tub. You can also bring cards and board games for a fun family game night outside!

Pigeon Forge has no shortage of things to do, and neighboring Gatlinburg is no different. The community calendars are always packed with fun, from arts and crafts shows, holiday celebrations, and food festivals to kids’ events, car shows, and tournaments.
