The open floor plan allows guests to interact whether relaxing, eating, or playing, so it’s great for those wanting to spend some quality time together in the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy a classic cabin exterior and wooded surroundings outside, along with wood interiors and stylish décor inside. With amenities to keep you entertained and conveniences you enjoy from home, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin will keep you comfortable throughout your stay.

Living room
Located on the main floor, the living room is stylish, clean, and comfortable. A nice sofa and complementing chair with ottoman sit in front of the gas-powered stone fireplace. On those chilly mountain evenings, turn on the fireplace and relax as you catch up with family and friends. Or you can flip on the big screen TV with DVD player and watch movies. With the kitchen just steps away, you can pop some popcorn, keep snacks nearby, or grab a drink for a great movie night. Just prop your feet up on the two leather ottomans and relax. There is also a side table with a lamp next to the sofa. Keep phones and drinks on hand or flip on the lamp for some late-night reading. This homey space will make you want to spend hours just relaxing here. A window in the room frames a wooded view, and doors lead out to the covered deck – another peaceful place to spend some time.

Kitchen
A full kitchen is a welcome amenity on a stay in the Smoky Mountains. It will save you the time of driving into town for every meal or snack, and it will allow you to save some money! Outfitted with white appliances and plenty of tools and dishes, the well-equipped kitchen in Big Chill will feel like home. Spend an afternoon baking cookies with the kids or cook a delicious homemade meal to enjoy in the cabin. The wood cabinets blend perfectly with the walls and floors, and a window above the sink offers a wooded view. This open space is light and bright, inviting you to enjoy your time cooking here.

Dining area
Just off the kitchen and living area is a nice space for meals in the cabin. The dining area has a high-top table set for four. You can watch TV as you eat or just sit and enjoy a quiet meal. Stop by the store or the local farmers market before you head to the cabin and pick up all the ingredients you’ll need for homemade meals. Whip up big Southern breakfasts in the morning or have a romantic candlelit dinner at night. The peaceful in-cabin meals will be a nice break from the busy restaurants downtown. Or if you don’t want to cook but want a great meal, order a meal to go and enjoy it in the comfort of your own cabin!

Bedrooms
Upstairs in the loft, the bunk room is ideal for kids. They’ll love having their own space to sleep and play. The bunk bed features comfy quilts and a ladder that provides easy access to the top bed. Next to the bed is a large window with wooded views and a pool table that the kids (and adults) will love. Wood beams and high ceilings make the room feel spacious and open. The bunk room has an open balcony that looks out over the main floor. You can keep an eye on the kids, but they will still feel like they have their own space in the cabin.

The master bedroom is located on the main level and features an attached bath and its own closet. The king-size bed is stylishly outfitted, and a rug by the bed provides a plush first step in the morning. There are nightstands with lamps on both sides of the bed, and a window by the bed looks out onto the deck. Flip on the lamps at night for a romantic atmosphere or to read a book as you lie in bed. There is also a large flat screen TV mounted at the foot of the bed, so you can catch up on the news before crawling out of bed in the morning. With such a comfortable space, you may not want to leave your room! In the attached bath, a jetted tub provides a private place to unwind. Bring along some soothing bath salts for a truly luxurious experience.

Outdoor spaces
Big Chill boasts a covered porch in the front and a covered deck in the back. Have a cup of coffee as you take in the wooded views from the front porch or head to the back deck for more relaxing. On nice days and nights, fire up the charcoal grill for a cookout. As you grill steaks and burgers, let the fresh mountain air wash over you. You can sit back with a drink in the rocking chairs – an ice-cold glass of lemonade in summer (keep cool with the ceiling fan) or a hot cup of cocoa in winter – and enjoy the views of the mountains and woods. The covered deck also boasts a hot tub – a favorite cabin amenity. Enjoy privacy with the screen along one side. At night, soothe tired muscles under the twinkling stars of the Smokies. Because it’s set on a covered deck, you can enjoy the relaxing waters of the hot tub even when it’s raining or snowing!

Other amenities
Big Chill has been outfitted to provide you with comfort and convenience. It has a CD player, washer and dryer, DVD and VCR players, and high speed wireless Internet! Use the Internet to find coupons for local attractions, see what events will be going on during your stay, or decide which restaurant to try for the night. You can also just kick back in this cozy cabin and surf the web for a little while. All of these great indoor and outdoor spaces make for a fantastic Smoky Mountain getaway.

This Pigeon Forge cabin is located just a few miles from downtown. Within a short drive, you’ll be at some of the area’s top attractions, along with a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
