Description

It’s like stepping into a Smoky Mountain daydream every day of your stay in the newly constructed Charlie Brown’s Cabin in Bear Creek Crossing resort community. Completed in 2018 by luxury log home construction company Botkin & Cole, this beautiful 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin is impressive both inside and out.

Log banisters, mountain views, and rocking chairs create the perfect outdoor living spaces to sip on cold sweet tea while cooking on the grill during warm afternoons and soaking in the relaxing, bubbly waters of the outdoor hot tub during cool, crisp evenings in the mountains. Inside, elegantly rustic décor and interior design lend a welcoming atmosphere for up to 6 guests to unwind on the leather sofas by a warm fire beyond the stone hearth, cook delicious meals using the sleek black appliances in the fully loaded kitchen, and shoot pool in the loft rec room during lazy days in the cabin.

Under 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge, you may consider staying extra days in the beautiful Bear Creek Crossing cabin resort community! On days when the family isn’t racing go-karts at LazerPort Fun Center, defeating evil wizards at MagiQuest, or discovering all the wonders of science at WonderWorks, spend laid-back afternoons by the outdoor community pool while peaceful waterfalls lull you into a poolside nap. Then, return to the cabin loft for movie night on the huge 50” HD flatscreen TV with a soundbar stereo system. After gorgeous hikes and satisfying adventures in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, come home to Charlie Brown’s Cabin and enjoy full nights of rest in the 2 king-size beds and revel in waking up to your Smoky Mountain daydream each morning.

Living Room
Whether you are relaxing on a quiet morning in the mountains or playing board games and laughing late into the night with friends, the living area is a warm, inviting space great for hanging out and enjoying your cozy home away from home. Large, plush leather couches provide ample seating while playing charades and sipping glasses of local wine from Smoky Mountain Winery, watching movies by the fire with warm cups of cocoa, or squeezing in afternoon naps after whitewater rafting on the Pigeon River.

Enjoy a midday snack on the log coffee table with the large flatscreen TV after a morning shopping and a large breakfast at The Old Mill. Before turning into bed at night, read the last few chapters of that book you have been trying to finish under the light of the black bear tableside lamp while warm flames dance in the stone fireplace.

Kitchen
You may feel more inclined to cook in the cabin after walking into your fully loaded kitchen with gorgeous countertops, charming wood cabinetry, and sleek modern appliances. Enjoy preparing big hearty breakfasts before long hikes to the scenic Alum Cave in the morning and multi-course dinners in the evenings under the light of the antler chandelier.

Toast to reconnecting with old friends with frozen margaritas or surprise the kids with smoothies on warm summertime afternoons using the kitchen blender. Store all your tasty fudge from the Smoky Mountain Candy Shop in the refrigerator for the perfect after-dinner desserts. With all the utensils, dishes, and glasses you need to set the table within your reach, there’s no need to waste money on plasticware!

Dining Space
A continuation of the sparkling granite kitchen countertops, the breakfast bar and stools provide ample elbow room during your cabin meals. Use the spacious bar to set up a self-serve buffet and eat in the living room by the fire for dinner using the folding TV trays. Use the dining area for a picnic assembly line before heading to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to enjoy your sandwiches in the dreamy mountain plain atop Andrews Bald. Or just sip on your morning coffee at the breakfast bar while perusing your social media using your cabin’s high-speed wireless internet.

Bedrooms
Crawl under the covers of the cozy bear quilts of your king-size beds each night to begin a restful sleep from which you’ll wake up rejuvenated and ready for each day’s new adventure in the Smokies. With direct bathroom access, gorgeous hardwood flooring, charming log furnishings, and flatscreen TVs, guests will feel more than welcome and at home in the 2 bedrooms of Charlie Brown’s Cabin. Escape to the privacy of your quiet bedroom to enjoy afternoon naps under the soft breeze of the overhead fan or flip on the flatscreen TV before hopping in the shower to primp before dinner downtown. Extra guests are still afforded easy bathroom access in the loft, where you’ll also find a sleeper sofa and a flatscreen TV.

Rec Room
The loft rec room provides another great space for hanging out with friends or spending time with the kids while playing board games, shooting pool, and relaxing on rainy days. Grab a seat on the Big Joe gaming chairs and leather sofa with a big bowl of popcorn for awesome in-cabin movie nights with the kids without spending money on expensive theater tickets. Grab a growler of your favorite beer from the Smoky Mountain Brewery and enjoy the big game on the 50-inch HD flatscreen TV with DirecTV while shooting some pool and lounging on the leather seating or play the new arcade game.

Charlie Brown’s cabin was perfect for our visit, so cozy and inviting we didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and arcade games. The quiet gated community made us feel safe. We would love to stay here again!
